- The Zakrila Index is an independent system for measuring, evidencing and maintaining safeguarding frameworks. It publishes, for each participating organisation, a participation status and an Ⰻ Safeguarding Status computed from that organisation's own declarations, role confirmations and recorded system events.
- The Zakrila Index does not certify that any organisation is safe; does not certify legal or regulatory compliance; does not guarantee that harm has not occurred or will not occur; does not inspect, investigate, approve or endorse any organisation; and does not replace statutory safeguarding responsibilities, professional judgement, regulatory oversight or independent due diligence.
- A public entry is an information service provided to the public. Publication of an entry or status is not advice and is not a recommendation to contract with, employ, appoint, admit, fund, insure, invest in or otherwise rely on any organisation. Zakrila does not assume a duty of care to any person who reads or relies on an entry, and no relationship of proximity or reliance is created by publication.
- Withheld and Conditional are governance conditions. They do not record wrongdoing, are not allegations, and do not mean that an organisation is unsafe or non-compliant.
- Users remain responsible for their own safeguarding, legal, procurement, insurance, employment, investment and operational due diligence.
- Nothing in this notice limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Entries change over time. The status shown on this website at the time of viewing is the only current status. Any reproduction of a status elsewhere is subject to the External display rules.
- These terms apply to your use of www.zakrilaindex.com. The website is operated by Zakrila (company number 16952018), registered office 1 Saxon Reach, Cliffsend, Ramsgate CT12 5HQ.
- The register is provided as an information service. The Public Register and Status Disclaimer forms part of these terms.
- You may view and link to entries. You may not scrape the register, reproduce a status as static text, present a status as a certification or endorsement, or use the register to harass, defame or discriminate against any organisation or person.
- You must not submit nominations or enquiries that are false, abusive or that contain safeguarding case information or personal data about third parties beyond what the form requests.
- We may suspend access to the website for maintenance or security. Published statuses are not changed by any interruption.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.

- Parties. These terms are between Zakrilaand the organisation registering to participate ("you").
- What participation is. You provide structured declarations and appoint role holders who confirm them. No documents are requested or accepted. You must not submit safeguarding case information, special category data, incident records or documents.
- Accuracy.Declarations and confirmations must be true, given by the person named, and given with that person's authority. You are responsible for keeping role assignments current.
- Status. Ⰻ Safeguarding Status is computed from recorded events under the published methodology. Neither you nor we can set it directly. It changes automatically on expiry, vacancy, incomplete confirmation or the end of a Structural Alignment Window. Fees do not affect status.
- Publication.On registration your organisation's name, sector, jurisdiction, participation status, Ⰻ Safeguarding Status and status dates are published. You consent to this publication. Nothing you submit is published as free text.
- Fees. The participation fee is £30 per month, payable in advance, exclusive of VAT where applicable. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Withdrawal. You may withdraw at any time. On withdrawal participation status changes to Not Active. [Entry retention rule — FIELDFISHER DECISION REQUIRED.]
- Corrections and disputes. Use the Complaints and corrections route. Status will not be altered manually; a correction is applied by recording the corrected event.
- Data protection.Role holders' names, roles and contact details are processed as described in the Privacy notice. You must inform role holders before adding them.
- Liability. Our liability to you is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- Governing law. England and Wales.
Ⰻ Safeguarding Status is derived from an append-only, hash-chained record of events: declarations, role assignments, role acceptances, confirmations, reassignments, vacancies, alignment events and expiries. The status is computed from these events under fixed rules. It is never written directly by any user, operator or administrator.
The method applies the Daceva-Warren Framework. Governance integrity is treated as a function of confirmation, distributed authority and elapsed time since the last valid confirmation. Confirmation decays; renewal is required within each 90-day validity cycle.
The method records governance conditions. It does not use safeguarding case data, does not assess the quality of safeguarding practice, and does not predict or measure harm.

- Link directly to the organisation's live entry on this website.
- Show the status date and the valid-until date.
- Link to the methodology notice.
- Not present the status as static text, an image or a badge that can remain visible after the live status changes.
- Not describe the status as a certification, accreditation, award, approval, endorsement or guarantee of safety.
A display that does not meet these rules is not authorised by Zakrila.

Correcting an entry
If you are an organisation and your entry contains an error, sign in and update the relevant declaration or role record. Status is recomputed from the corrected record. We do not edit statuses manually.
Disputing a status
If you believe a published Ⰻ Safeguarding Status is wrong, email complaints@zakrila.comwith the organisation name, the entry link, the status you dispute and the reason. We will acknowledge within 2 working days and respond within 10 working days. While a dispute is under review the entry shows the reason 'Display restricted pending resolution of a correction or dispute'.
